AUTOMATIC CARTONER C-260 / C-400 FULMEN
The operator side of the C-260 and C-400 FULMEN are perfectly linear and accessible, allowing carton magazine loading to be carried out with convenience and with a large carton storage capacity. This feature also gives the operator full vision and total control of all the functions carried out on the machine. The cantilever structure, separating the mechanical transmission from the product/carton handling areas, guarantees total accessibility for machine inspection purposes and immediate elimination of product/packaging material residue, in compliance with GMP norms.
Products are automatically (or manually) loaded into the conveyor buckets, where an appropriate device detects their presence and controls carton pick-off from the magazine. Each product present on the conveyor corresponds to a carton on the lug chain. The sensor fitted on the upper contrast guides controls the carton’s presence. Should the carton be missing or malformed, then the machine will stop or the product rejector will be enabled. Various components may be inserted inside the packaging, e.g. a leaflet, picked off from an appropriate magazine or directly from the folding unit. The carton is opened and transferred to the product introduction area. Appropriate devices check that leaflets or other components have been picked off. Should any of the foreseen components be missing, then the final package rejector will be activated or the machine will be stopped.
The pushers insert products into the relevant cartons, which then proceed on the lug chain towards the exit, whereas creasing and final carton closure phases complete the operation cycle
